Quadros Migl & Crosby attorney Kenneth Owen assists and guides his clients in various business-related legal concerns including business and commercial litigation and civil appeals, entity formation and registered agent services, contract drafting and review, entity formation, contractor agreements, operating agreements, non-compete and non-disclosure agreements, buy and sell agreements, 501(c)(3) Organizations, and other business-related contracts.
Kenneth grew up in Athens, Texas and went on to attended Texas A&M University—Kingsville where he earned his undergraduate degree in criminal justice. After graduating from A&M, Kenneth decided to become a lawyer. His decision to pursue a career in law was largely influenced by his father, James Owen, and further fueled by a passion for learning.
During a debate held while running for County Attorney in East Texas his father said: “It does not matter what people think of you, the important thing is to do what is right despite that. That is what we as lawyers are supposed to do.” His father’s focus on doing what is right had a profound impact on Kenneth’s life goals and belief system.
Kenneth’s clients prefer working with him because he provides compassionate legal service for complex issues. His knack for research and his high level of curiosity have led him to learn everything he can about the law and how to best represent his clients. Kenneth’s early years as a professional athlete and co-manager of a professional baseball team have given him an unusual amount of grit, perseverance, leadership, and determination, which serves him and his clients well as he guides them through the litigation process.
Kenneth’s community involvement includes supporting his sister’s nonprofit that works with aged-out orphans as they assimilate to adult life in Latvia. He contributes to and assists on projects to grow her influence for her cause here in the United States. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, reading mountains of early American history, and is currently trying to learn his wife’s native language-Korean.
