Jennifer “Jen” Murray was raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Her father, Daniel T. Rabbitt, Jr. was an incredible attorney in St. Louis and watching him help others inspired her to become a lawyer. She moved to Texas to attend college at Texas Christian University, where she attained her bachelor’s degree in history.
Jen served as the City Secretary for Piney Point Village, working closely with both the Mayor and the City Administrator. She also maintained a strong working relationship with the City Attorney and found great fulfillment in being actively involved in and serving the community.
Jen was the founding attorney of J Murray Law, LLLP, where she focused her practice on business law, business planning, tax-efficient structuring, estate planning, and wealth planning. Additionally, Jen is a certified mediator. She remains dedicated to these areas of practice, finding great fulfillment in helping clients make thoughtful legal decisions and develop plans that support both their businesses and families.
Jen places a high value on cultivating long-term relationships with her clients. By taking the time to get to know both her clients and their families, she builds trust and gains a deeper understanding of their needs. This approach allows her to offer more comprehensive legal advice, recognizing that a business owner’s professional and personal lives are often closely intertwined, and ensuring a holistic legal strategy.
Jen enjoys traveling both domestically and abroad. She studied abroad in Scotland in 2000 and was part of a documentary traveling through Russia in the early 1990’s.
